I have a 93 ford f150 and there has been some rattling on the passenger side of the motor for the past 2 weeks. It happens when I turned my wheels to make a right turn. Dad said it was the smog pump so I got out this mornin and had someone turn the wheel and now i dont here a thing. Still wondering if i should replace the smog pump or take it apart.
No, you shouldn't. Until you've positively IDed the source of the noise, doing nothing is better than tearing stuff up or replacing things that are OK.
