Strange Acceleration Noise - Ford Forums

My 2002 F150 has developed a whistling sound during acceleration and when the engine backs down when reved up. It sounds something like a vent being open and closing. It is most noticable in second gear. The mechanics are stumped but say it is not serious? Any suggestions?

Come on Guys - Nobody has any response out of all the viewers? It seems like it iis related to the injector system but the noise is most noticable inside the cab like it is coming thru the air vents somehow.
