Stuck Window

So I had the motor in the drivers side door replaced a few months back. Today i think it quit on me. Im not exactly sure what the problem is, but the drivers side window will not come back up, the passenger side will. I have checked the fuses and relay's and nothing seems to work. when i push the button into the down position the relay does make a clicking noise. I dont know if thats normal or not. But I can also tell the button is working because when i push it up the light slightly dims. Does anybody have any idea what is going on here? Thanks, any help would be greatly appriciated so i dont have my window down at work!

(also, is there any way that i could manualy roll up my windows with the motor in the door?)

Re: Stuck Window

mine did that, it may be the gears in your motor. they're some kind of plastic so it happens. its a cheap and relatively easy fix. i figured out that if you put your windows all the way up, and then press the button once quickly(not so much that the window opens) it will relieve the pressure on the gears/motor and give them longer life.
