maverick12 Registered User Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 1	tailshaft lengths I have a busted 3 speed w/overdrive tranny and just bought another from the same year model truck which is a 87 4x4. But when I put them side by side, the tailshaft on the one I just bought was 3 inches longer. The truck it came out of was a long bed and mine is a short bed. What do I do. Thanks for any ideas....
