Temp Gauge Stays On Hot

My temp gauge stays on hot. It immediantly goes to hot from a cold start. I have already changed a sensor that I found was broken off and it still didn't fix the problem. It was the sensor that is at an angle to the engine. Is there any other sensors that deal with the coolant temperature?

Re: Temp Gauge Stays On Hot

There are 2 sensors. One for the PCM and one for the guage.

im not certain(its late, trucks outside, cold outside ect..) but unplug the one you know about w/truck running.. does the CE light come on? does your guage change? if CE comes on, plug it back in.. its the other one.
