jo14 Registered User Join Date: Mar 2007 Posts: 23	tranny problems I have a '97 ford f-150 2wd with 4.2 V6 and 4 speed auto. transmission. The transmission won't shift into 3rd or 4th, so I hooked it up to computer and it said the shift solenoid was malfunctioning. so I changed both shift solenoids. That didn't work, and it only shifts to 2nd,and then slips unless I turn the over drive off. any tips would be helpful.
