Im not positive , but i think there is sensors in the transmission that tells it when to shift. Try running the codes and see what comes up. Autozone does this for free! hope this helps.
I think I got it fixed, I cleaned the MAF sensor and it's been doing good.
But it's good to know Auto Zone will check that for free, I'll remember that.
