Trim option id

I'm looking at buying a 97 F250 7.3L. My question is how do I identify the difference between the XL and XLT options?

Thanks for the help

Re: Trim option id

i believe the XL is a base model because it has mostly vinyl and plastic interior with probably a rubber floor and the XLT will have more bells and whistles like power windows and power locks that the XL doesn't have.
not to mention a fabric interior and carpet on the XLT.

Re: Trim option id

what sometimes works for me is going to ww.kbb.com (kelly blue book website) and putting in your vehicle info....then as part of finding out the value it will give a list of all options available for that particular year/make/model for you to select

look up a 97 F250 and specifiy a XL....look at the options available

look up a 97 F250 and specifiy a XLT....look at the options available

compare

happy hunting!
