So....
(2100 kg/1)(2.2046 lbs/1kg) = 4629.66 lbs
(4620 lbs/1)(1kg/2.2046 lbs) = 2095.62 kg
Just organize your conversions so the units you don't want cancel out.
How about some confusion????
The funny part is that kg is actually a unit of mass not weight. The unit of weight is actually a Newton(N). 1 Newton is the force required to accelerate an object with mass of 1 kg at a rate of 1 m/s/s.
There are also 2 types of "lbs"......pounds force and pounds mass. On Earth where g= 32.174 ft/s/s, one pound force equals one pound mass but they are not the same. An object can weight nothing and still have mass.
