Thumbs up vss wire

Hi guys and gals

anyone know where to locate the vss wire vehicle speed signal off the gearbox so i acn hook up my new nav system

It depends on the year of the vehicle and whether or not it's a 2wd or a 4wd. Some of the F series trucks have the VSS at the rear of the t-case and some have the VSS in the rear differential. For '92-'96 the VSS should have a light green and a light blue wire. The light blue is the speed sensor feed and the light blue is the speed sensor return to the computer. Post your year and I'll be happy to check it for you.
