just wondering about changing my wheels on my 1986 F150 I was thinking about later model F150 rims etc...is the stud pattern the same?

I am going to say that they are simply because the 8.8 axle that has been used in them for all these years hasn't changed one bit, therefore neither should the bolt pattern.

The bolt pattern for later wheels are 5 on 135mm and use 14mm studs up till 04 when it switched to 6 on 135mm. That screwed things up.
