Dwayne, did you test drive the truck before you bought it? Don't get me wrong, your criticisms sound well-founded and are very clearly expressed, it just sounds like a hasty purchase decision.
Nothing like a thorough test drive to check cabin comfort, ambiance and praticality. Kind of think you're a tad harsh, you slay the F150 for the above reasons, but then go on to point out the great handling, ride, power and performance.
My thoughts exactly guys, all of these points could have been resolved if he had of read all the literature about the car and took a proper test drive. I can see why you are not getting a response from Ford here.
hehe will have to go with the others, shoulda taken it for a test drive, dont they offer a test drive before you buy over there?
theres also a link to fordforums at the bottom of the page

Ford make a truck that they think would be ideal for the average person. They can't keep everyone happy. They try hard to make everyone happy but its just not possible to. For some people the truck is everything they need. For others the truck might not be suitable and they go buy a Dodge. Have you thought about modifications. How about improving the vehicle instead of giving it a bash. If its not fast enough, supercharge it, if its not high enough, put a lift kit under it.
Read your article on your website. I agree to a point, not just Ford, but GM and Chrysler should all rethink about the design of these new trucks, they just are not practical anymore, they are absolute crap in design. The boxes are way too high to lift items into them from the side, they are too rounded on the front, all the tires are exposed and not covered properly by the fenders, (what the hell were fenders for anyway) and they throw mud, sand and water up along the sides and at other vehicles too. The front pillar posts produce a huge blind spot. What every happend to the slightly rap around windshield? You roll the side window down when it rains and you get soaked to the you know what because they are sloped inward too much. Guess I could go on, but I'll take the older design pickup trucks anyday. I own a 88 F-150 and its got its flaws too but not like these new ones. Guess these manufacturer's go by fancy designs because it sells. All they worry about is the $$$$$.
I have a 2004 f-150 Fx4 extended cab and ive owned fords my whole life..this is by far the best truck ever built..i cant compare it to others because ove never drove anything else..mybe i just dont know whats out there..but my new truck is a dream compared to the old model..with the fx4 i get the middle console..its like a cadilac...so comfortable..only thing i agree in your article is the rims..snow and gravel get stuck on the inside and causes the out of balance feeling..you really need to get in there with a pressure washer...other than that...I love it...
before slamming Ford here you should look at yourself. guess you don't have any vision when it comes to trucks. why would you buy something you haven't done any research on????? sounds like u need a supercrew and bought something Cheaper. Is the real problem your salery????
i am a proud owner of a 2005 supercrew f-150 1/2 ton fx4 4x4. and all the things you posted are not true........this is the best truck God ever made.........
