'02 E350 Won't Charge

Hi, I'm really stumped on this. I've replaced the battery and alternator, I even had the alt. tested at 14.6 volts, but I only have 11.5 on the van! I've checked all the fuses with a test light. I've double checked the connections. There is 11.5 volts at the plug. It's a 5.4 work van. Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated!

There's a draw somewhere along the line, that's for sure. Only thing I can think of is a bad wiring harness, or perhaps PCM, a bad PCM will generally bring with it some engine codes though. Electrical gremlins are hard to pinpoint. I'm sure others will chime in with suggestions but as you've done the obvious and had the system tested, a proper diagnosis should be done at a reputable shop.

Try changing the serpentine belt,I have seen all this done before with still a no-charge condition and it came down to a glazed belt. You cannot see the difference in the pulley speeds and a glazed belt sometimes does not make a lot of noise.Worth a try.
