What do the hinges on the door hook up to?

there is glovebox, but don't know if there is something missing.
any help with this?

The glove box door should have studs on it that mount through holes on the dash. If I remember correct the holes are on the bottom lip of the door opening. I will look at mine tomorrow and get back with you.

i have a beautiful '61 econoline truck. when i bought it, there were boxes of "extra parts" in side. i could'nt figure out how the glove box door went on. no holes for the hihges, and no place where the latch had been. i found out from an "old-timer" that the '61 did not have a door. just the pocket.
