Question 2008 E250 all over the road??????

hey, just wondering if anybody else has a e250 with the hankook tires that is all over the road at highway speeds and follows the road at city speeds. mine has 1800mi on it and its a white knuckle ride on the freeway. i had it back to ford twice and they said its the nature of the beast. they drove a few that were on there lot and said they all drve that way. i drove another one that my company has that does not have the hankooks on it and its fine. both are loaded the same. any thoughts????

I hear you there! We just updated part of our fleet to E250 cargo vans with the 4.6L and 4.10 gears. Hankook tires included. Around town it's fantastic, but above 50mph it's as if the steering is very loose and you have to make constant corrections to keep the van on track. I took the one I had in after the first day on the road with it to the Dealer since I thought something was loose or it was in dire need of an alignment and I was told it all checked out fine! It's like driving a Toyota Echo that weighs just over 2100lbs at 80mph. Barely any control. After the first few hours of making service calls out of town I was ready to take the van back to my office and refuse to drive it as it doesn't feel safe at all on the highway. We have two 2006 and two 2008's that have the SAME problem with the SAME tires.
