Hello all, new guy here. my problem is really odd, 1987 E-350 class c motor home, 460 4v auto. will start fine cold, run for 10-15 minutes, then die. will not start for 30-40 minutes, then will start again and run for 10-15 minutes, then die again. only happens when sitting still, when driving, will run all day. At first, removed air cleaner, had gas, put in either while cranking, nothing. checked and no spark. then after 30 minutes, she started right up.

I know, don't stop!

Sounds like it could be the ignition control module. All the ones I've seen fail, don't ever work again, but I have heard of them having intermitant problems. Also, possible the coil is breaking down when it gets hot. If it was mine, I'd try the module. If that is not it, you would still have a spare on hand. Sooner or later, the module will most likely fail.
