Exclamation Dipstick tube on 460 cid

Pulled the dipstick to check oil level last weekend and tube came out with it.
Can't locate the hole to push the tube back in. Diagrams from Ford, Haynes, etc. useless. It's a 1984 Econoline 350 cut away chasis on a C-class motorhome, 460 cid with back oil pan. Obviously space is extremely limited. Pictures of area where hole is would be VERY helpful, but I'll take any kind of description as to where it is as well. Also, there's a metal tab on the tube that was apparently welded to something (exhaust manifold?) which is probably the reason the tube came out. Anyone think JB Weld will hold this on once I find where it goes? Thanks.

Re: Dipstick tube on 460 cid

Just thought I'd let everyone know, if you remove the oil filter (assuming yours is on the right front of the engine block), there's a large nut screwed into the oil pan (hidden behind the filter) that the tube goes in. The nut secures the tube into the oil pan. To get to it, you'll probably have to loosen the front torsion bar. I did. Now all I need to do is to find a replacement tube which apparently doesn't exist for BB Ford engines.
