E350 Natural Gas

I recently bought a 2001 E350 that came from the factory equipped to run on natural gas.
Where can I find information on this truck? I can't find how much gas is holds from empty, how much it should consume, etc. The gauge goes to the top when I fill the tanks, but by the next morning it is 3/4.

Re: E350 Natural Gas

Your best bet is to phone Ford with your VIN or visit a local dealer. They'll be able to print out the original factory specs of the van and it shouldn't cost you a thing!

225-hp, 5.4-liter V-8 (natural gas)
255-hp, 5.4-liter V-8 (petrol)

As NG isn't as efficient as gasoline, you lose HP/torque and mileage (1-3mpg; city/hwy). I'm not sure if it'll work with the E series or not, but index makes home NG filling stations!

Re: E350 Natural Gas

There is no local Ford dealer. There is a Ford service agency, but they have never seen anything like this nor have anything on it.

Looking for something to download
