As of now they're axing the E series after 2012 or 2013. I LOVE my vans!! I've been driving E350's daily for 20 years now and this is the biggest most important tool I own to make my living so this change concerns me a LOT!!! They're going to call it the T series or Transit van which I think is a HUGE mistake. I don't give a rats nads what you call it on the other side of the pond. In the USA, we know and love the E-Series name. Why the F change that? It's been the number one van since 1980, you have an 80% market share and you want to change the name? Wake up FORD Seriously, it doesn't cost any more money to make a E than a T and I think any relation the the joke micro-van Transit Connect is a colossal mistake!

On the bright side, this video shows a van that looks like a machine that can get the job done. I saw a frame and a rear axle thank god. I don't know about the rest of you but I care about the styling of my van about as much as I care about the styling of my skivies! Reliability, reliability, load carrying and towing, power, braking and reliability are what's important. I hope they don't reduce the reliability, cargo space, the GWV or the power or I'm gone.

Over here the Transit has been the best selling light van for over 40 yrs . Great to work on / service and for driving .Suppose I must have worked on all models at one time or other . Cant really see the big issue with the name to be honest . Could call it anything you want it wouldn't matter or influence me in anyway , it's the vehicle that matters .

I agree that they can call it whatever they want. As long as Ford doesn't overprice it like the Sprinter, they'll keep their high market share. The first year will be the worst, as aftermarket upfitters won't have anything for the vans right away, so shelves and such will be custom..
