MY transmission is slipping!!!

MY transmission is slipping!!! Do I have to use a Ford Econoline transmission or I better off to go with F truck transmission? I am looking for something more reliable?

1999 E150 4.2L V6

They shouldn't be much trouble. Most of ours last over 150,000 miles before we replace the vehicles. __________________ Bert
