Need diagnostic help

Looking at buying a motorhome on a 1994 E350 chassis with a 460. The owner says it ran erratically last fall while on the highway and wanted to stall. He stopped let it cool and it ran good for a few miles but then wanted to stall. He held it to the floor and blew black exhaust for a few miles then it cleared up. There's no check engine light on or hard codes but we pulled history codes 66, 68, and 86 which seem to all point to a rich condition. Any ideas on which sensor might be the culprit? Thanks

Re: Need diagnostic help

I would suspect that the MAP sensor may have acted up.I would keep an eye on it and also it could have been a sticky fuel pressure regulator. If it does this again ,do a pressure test on the fuel rail and check for erratic pressure.
