I have a 2009 E350 which we purchased from the rental market with just over 10,000 miles on it. We then set it up to tow our 32' Airstream. The van is a mule and behaved wonderfully on a recent 7000 mile trip. However, even with the XLT trim Ford really cheaped out on the seats. They are are torture to sit in for long periods and now are even starting to fray. So out they go and in with new ones. My dealer has been no help to me at all. We have no reliable van conversion place here and I cannot seem to find out what bases are compatible. I had changed out seats on a motorhome we owned and will try this too. Has anyone switched out their seats in a late model E350?

Next question and this goes back to a sad dealer as well, Our side door will not stay closed. It has been adjusted several times but still we hear a clunk and then it will rattle and soon the door ajar light is on. The dealer has given up since now we have gone over the warranty mileage. Anyone have a similar problem?

I'm not sure of the seat situation, try posting in the E seies forum. As far as the door is concerned, if the dealer was working on it when it was under warranty, it will be covered until it's fixed. In the owners manual, there's an 800 number to get a factory rep involved if need be.
