I just spent $600 for a new distributor, trouble code 212 spout circut grounded
still comming up, Code 172 refers to a lean condition on the right side, still coming up.

I am being advised that its the O2 sensor, or possibly the injectors ( cleaning service $140 ). Problem is its a new sensor, were going to put the old one back on to see if that does it.

Code 212 also refers to eng module but thats new.

Any Ideas out there?

Code 172 can come from your Mass Air Flow sensor. Here is some info I bookmarked a while back on it:

Turns out O2 sensor was disconnected, Ck eng lite out, had injectors cleaned
at Pep Boys saved $40, running much quieter now.

So good to hear, REDhat. I am glad that it did not end up being a costly repair for you.

Oh, it was, $600 for a new distributor to correct intermittent starting prob. which was the original problem, bad stator on the old one. Should have installed that myself and save $300.
I read that Sportmobile flips the rear leaf springs for an improved ride, what are your thoughts on that one?

You are looking at a dramatic drop with that one. 4 to 8 inches to be exact on the rear. A flip kit lowers your vehicle by taking the rear axle from below your leaf springs and repositioning it on top of the leaf springs. If you do that, I recommend using drop shocks to accomodate the lowered stance.

Yeah, but I think they compensate by changing the shackel, the E350 Sportmobiles I see are not lowered. I will probably need to contact someone
at Sportmobile to figure that one out. I had the Beast on washboard last nite and its not comfortable, even tippy.

New problem and I would rather not pay a technician, AIR BAG dash lite flashing, Just started yesterday. Any chance its a fuse?
