Van/RV fan blower box invaded by rodent
1997 E-350 Van Chassis for RV.
A rodent chewed up the foam donut that bridges the gap between the fan blower box and the fresh air intake cowling.
I'm looking for ideas on how to:
1)repair the damage
2)prevent reoccurance
WITHOUT removing the blower box (which would involve air conditioning removal ... simply not practical).
There appears to be some access from the inside of the blower box ... perhaps a wire screen can be rigged together with some form of foam gasket or even spray foam (like for housing insulation).
Anyone have experience with this or practical suggestions ?
