vapor lock

1992 Ford E-150 viking conversion.

Just picked up this van and was warned about vapor lock.

I don't know much about it, including engine size. It's already hot here in nevada and the van runs really bad.

I do know that it has an electric fuel pump in the gas tank.

Is there an easy solution to this? I've found that keeping the gas tank full helps but doesn't solve the problem.

Any insite will be appreciated.
