Wiring Harnesses for 1994 E350 Club Wagon - Where to Buy?

My wiring was fried in a few places & "fixed" by my mechanic. The previous owner of the van had a remote starter put in by a "mechanic" (AKA LOT LIZARD) who wired it wrong. Over time the wiring shorted and now I am without power locks and have electrical problems (no instrument cluster lamps - fuse keeps blowing). I like the van even though it's old - the engine and tranny are solid. Can you all recommend a mail order house that sells wiring for FORD vans. I'd prefer an American company but will deal with Canadians if the price is right. Thanks Vic

You may be able to find a good used harness. Check here. Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

That may be affecting your trans too.

Thank you. That seems to make a lot of sense because the surging problem started happening the same time I had trouble with the shorts. I need to visit a more thorough mechanic. Thanks again
