just got my first standard car, a 1990 probe lx. i was hoping to get a little more power out of the engine and was wondering some easy ways to do it. me and my dad have worked on the car for awhile, but the only thing we did besides changing the suspension was boring out the engine to a 3.5. what could i do to increase the horspower to somewhere around 200

its the 3.0 out of the taurus. there's not really much you can do to improve on it. lol. should have bought a GT.

Bore a 3.0 to a 3.5?

The engine's Taurus origins also means it's possible to swap in the early SHO V6. Not easy, but easier than most other ways I could think of to hit your horsepower goals...
