1994 Probe GT Front End Vibration
I have a 1994 Probe GT 2.5L V6, 5sp manual with 75,000 miles.
After noticing "clicking" sounds in the front end during turning and a front end vibration at expressway speeds (i.e., 60-75mph), I had the front 1/2-shafts replaced, and also replaced the front brake rotors and pads. At that time I also had all (4) tires re-balanced and had an alignment performed.
What I am noticing now is a front end vibration (not in the steering wheel necessarily - it comes through the body of the car)during medium-to-hard acceleration in 2nd/3rd/4th/5th gears. At low levels of acceleration, and at "steady" speeds, a vibration isn't apparent.
Could this problem be with wheel bearings, ball joints, an engine/trans mount, or.....?
