And the last pic is the only "MOD" I could afford right now.....IAT mod....but its lighted...had to drill some holes in the switch its self...but with 2 red bulbs....it sure is bright

Nice, I think that's the same color as ChargerGL's car! About that IAT mod! I know that it's real popular with you ATX folx, but I have a question about it. I know of an IAT mod myself, but it's also good for MTX transmissions. The one that I know of is this: You cut the IAT wire, and place a resister in-line. You can vary the resistance from 10k, to 100k. This is suppose to fool the CPU into thinking that it's COLD outside instead of hot, thus making the CPU calibrate the air/fuel ratios and all that.

Now, what is the IAT mod that you guys are doing? The one that I know of is a popular modification for the 3.0L Ranger guys and Probes.

the IAT on the 2.5L when totally turned off removes the luxury shifts, thus it shifts more quickly. I was thinking to do the resistor thing...can you tell me more?

So basically that IAT mod is the same thing I have in my crap-omatic maxima; switch to regulate transmission shifting (Sport-middle-luxury). All it does is it revs the engine higher... shifts slower upwards. Right??? :WH:

well, sorta.....
Our cars are designed to "cut off fuel" durring the shift.
To produce a nice sloppy shift "Luxury". Disabling the IAT "Intake air tempature sensor" stop the ECU from cutting fuel to the injector producing a nice hard shift.
Why the hell Ford did this is beyond me. Sloppy shifts weres clutches and produces heat.....but hey what do I know?
