ahh I would be a little skechy on that...
Why did he bore the cyl. in the first? Usually you only do that if your down there anyways.
And if he did it just because its still a little high for a 93.

I may not know everything about rebuilding trannies, but how easy/hard is it to turn a 2.5 into a 2.7? Besides, 7k is too rich for my blood on a 8 year old car with 135k miles on it. I smell something really fishy.

Hmm, must be delusional.

If he dropped $3000-$4000 off of the price, listed a picture, and how many miles are on the rebuilt engine, he might actually get a bid.

Someone used to sell 2.7L stroker kits, but I'm not sure if you can do it with just oversized pistons (without ruining the block).
If he did it with just pistons, I bet that motherf*cker overheats.

.30 over isn't enough to make that kind of bore, it is only a clean up bore. He is just using big words to add the the BIG price!

Correct me if Im wrong but .030" oversize cylinders will net only 2.6ltr. You would have to go .060" and stroke the crank and if he only went .030" over he would have to stroke the crank even more. Its nothing major to have done.

But $7k is way to much.
