Hehehe....

I just got me a new motor. Right now it's where the backseats used to be...but obviously it doesn't run.

I got a whole "new to me" motor from a friend. Seems that the old owner of the motor decided to run it without oil for a bit, and made homself a bit of "connecting rod soup-pictures soon to follow".

There's also a hole in the side of the block that's about the size of a penny....pretty damn cool of you ask me.

But then, if I cannot use the block, what good is a new (ish) motor?

Well, I'm glad you asked. The heads and cams on this thing are immaculate! Soooo.....I'm gonna get these bad boys gone back over and cams reground.....Mmmmm.

I can already feel the power that I'm gonna be making....it feels good.

Good for you Trey. Was it free ? Are you going to do anything with the intake manifold and throttle body ?

Yes, it was free, but it didn't come with the IM and TB.

The heads are the biggest plus to this "spare" motor.

Isn't that the engine out of a 1992 BMW 850i??? I think stock the hp and tq are around 300. Very nice...they have a lot of potential.
