I have a 94 ford probe gt with manual transmission. I have had the outside outer pully come off of the harmonic balancer twice in the last few months. A couple of days before the last time it came off, my alternator wasn't charging fully, so I had tightented the belt. Could that have caused it to come off?
The balancer cost about $100, not to mention it usually eats up the belt $20. Anybody have any ideas?
