95 Probe Troubleshooting Problem

My 1995 Ford Probe with a 2.5 V6 engine has no power above idle speed when in gear. When in park or neutral, I can increase idle after some engine roughness to 3000 rpm or above. Already changed catalyitic convertor to no avail. Can anybody suggest any other options.

Thanks.
Phil
