(cool...I just found all the little face graphics!! :-)

Anyway my question/s:

-Do I understand correctly that a AEM Bypass for the hotshot prevents water from being injested into your engine...preventing hydrolock and fun stuff??

-Where dose it go/what dose it look like....is it an eye sore??

-Is it a must have for my hotshot (it's not on yet but in the mail !!!

- $40.00 a good price??

I haven't researched this yet, so it may take a few days for me to tell you something about it. If it really does what it's supposed to do (prevent hydrolock) then it's well worth the $40. Better $40 than a new engine :D

They are definetly worth it. I plan on installing one before winter. I saw a test of the valve, They used an NSX revved to around 4,000 rpm and had a 20 gallon fish tank next to the car with a clear acrylic tube for the intake so you would be able to see water in it. They sunk the open end of the intake in the water and the water went up the tube a few inches and the valve opened preventing the water from rising any more.

Well, then I'm getting one for myself this winter too - can't be too careful, especially with the amount of standing water around town during rainstorms...
