Anyone know someone going there?
I just found out today that my best friend (a Marine) is going to Tajikistan in about two weeks. The sad thing is, he was supposed to be honorably discharged on December 28th. But now he will be in at war for about 6 months. I have mixed feelings about this cuz I dont want him to get killed, but at the same time, I understand that being a Marine is his job and defending the US is in the contract. This is so confusing right now. I guess I can only hope for the best and wait for all of this to end. But I am proud of my friend for doing what he has to in order to protect the US.
