Question Antenna

Does anyone know the difference between the two part numbers F32Z-18A886-B and F32Z-18A886-A?

It's the power mast. I need one for a 95 (F32Z-18A886-A was quoted). Will the -B number work? Thanks

First time in a long time I've posted here!
Anyway, the Ford dealers always want tooooo much for the power antenna mast. Go to your Mazda dealer. They should be able to cross reference the proper part for you. I have on in mine. I only paid about $30 instead of the $75 my local Ford dealer wanted.

I'm looking at one on eBay, it's the -B part, I was quoted pricing on the -A part. I know better than to go to Ford. :bs6:

I dunno about the part #s b/c I'm at work and my shop book is in my garage at home. This is what I do know right now, which may or may not be useful. I have a 95GT. What I did when the dumba**es at the local carwash turned my stereo on in the wash and broke off the antenna was to go to a local junkyard and buy out the entire unit off a 94GT - motor and all. It's a relatively quick change out once you get the interior panel off.
What you need to be sure of is that if you do go the route of just replacing the mast, you have the retaining circle clip to hold the antenna in. Mine somehow vanished so that's why I bought a whole unit. Cheaper too, I think....like $30-35.

Unfortunately I have no junkyards near me. I replaced the mast lessthan 6 months ago, and now the garage door spring failed, so it attacked the antenna & bent it--now it doesn't work right (actually at all--I unplugged the power to avoid burning out the motor which is still good).

The shop book only gives the middle part of the number--I have it

maybe I'll take a chance on the ebay one, worst case I can sell it again...
