I was working on a friends 95 GT 2.5 v6 tonight and the top of the engine was stamped with "kl01" I have always thought the 2 different v 6's were the kl03 and the klze....so what is a klo1????

The american engine is still kl03, I know this was explained before, just can't remember what the answer was. That stamp is on a few things actually.

I beleive the kl01 is the part number of the intake.

The American motor is KLD....KL-xx are numbers used to associate certain parts with it...like the parts mentioned.

IE: KL03 = the block. :)
