Fan Belt model needed W/ A/C removed - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hi Guys and gals,

I need some help with finding out what the model number is for the fan belt for a 90GL that has the A/C compressor removed.

Also I need the front lower control arm for the drivers side real real bad and if you have a good passenger side one, I could use that too.

The Ford Dealership should know what belt goes on without the A/C. I can't help you out anymore than that though, sorry.

Stacey, you have a fan belt??? Don't all probes have electric fan's? Or are you talking about another belt? How's the Auto-X probe doing by the way? Hope everything's going well:s5

Well as you know I removed all that junk, and am running NO tensioner without problems. No slippage due to the belt having 5 ribs, but the PS can be sluggish when I push it to the extremes. I used a 33 1/2" 5ribbed belt. You should either get the non A/C tensioner setup or which was recommended by a few on PT is to just keep the AC bracket and pulley, but remove the compressor from the pulley. I haven't done it that way so I couldn't even give you any more insight on that. But i'm sure either you or Damon could figure something out:s6:
