Head Gasket Help
Hey all
I have a friend who wants to get rid of his 93 Ford Probe GT for super cheap. It currently isn't running great - it leaks oil somewhere, and it is leaking coolant into the oil. I'm assuming this means a busted head gasket, correct? Well, if I'm going to get this car, owing to money and other such problems, I'll be doing most work myself. What I'm wondering is, can a guy, who's good with his hands, and good with mechanical knowledge, but not super experienced, change a head gasket? I'd most likely be following steps from a book, have a garage to take my time with, and friends who are similarly experienced to help. I have a decent set of tools, and could get more if needed. Any help is much appreciated

PS I think it also needs a new alternator - alternators I've replaced before have sometimes been a pain, but fairly doable. How are they in a Probe?
