When I open my hood there is a 'arking' clicking niose from my distibutor,I replaced the cap and rotor ,noise still there
Does anyone know if there is a potential part inside the dizzy that could go bad ,and give a rough idle? thx.

My pgt was running rough and I could hear a clicking noise from my ditributor with the hood up.I tried all kinds of replacement parts with no luck until a freind said spray the area with water at night so you can"see" where the problem is.I could not believe it my 18 month old plug leads were arking all over the place,so I will be renewing them tomorrow ......not high tech fix,but its worked for me.

Good luck. Plug wires need to some OEM quality ones. Autozone ones tend to degrade soon. Try some NGK's
