Help me figure out a mystery

I go to get the mail, and I notice something from the Diamond Center. For all you who dont know what that it is, its a jewlery store. Anyhow, I get a store credit card which I never applied for. Will this hurt my credit in any way, even if I never use it? Im boggled why I got this card. Ive never even set foot in that place.

Lightbulb Hmmm...

It won't hurt your credit if you don't use it. I'm sure that you have to activate it first:) You shouldn't have recieved a card that you have not applied for tho...

I already cut the thing up...and besides, I hate expensive jewlery (I can see the guys' eyes opening wide)....I hate diamonds and rubys and the such. Not my thang.

Shred it and pitch it. You won't miss the outrageous interest rates that they wish to gouge you with.

I have heard that having a credit card and not using it can be bad...dunno why....

However, I would find out why they sent you an actual credit card when you did not authorize them to do so.

Nylie, do you have other Credit Cards or other bills ? If so, the company may have bought info from one of them. Especially if you pay your bills on time, you'd be at the top of the list.
