Hot-wiring a '93

I realize there's no reason for anyone on this forum to trust me ...

I've lost every working copy of my key, and I'm trying to sell the car. It's not worth more than $500, so I really don't want to shell out the cash to get new locks put in or a flatbed to take it on a 100-mile journey. I've already contacted Ford, but I don't know which dealer the car originally came from .. so they were unable to help.

I'm not much of a criminal, so I don't know what it takes to hot-wire a car .. I sincerely doubt anyone will give me instructions, because like I said, I could be anybody making up this story .. but if you think you can be of any help, please contact me at coldfire22x@ ... (if you think of _anything_ .. to get the car started, recover the key from Ford, etc.)

Thanks in advance

Re: Hot-wiring a '93

Buy a new ignition switch from your local autoparts store, plug it in, but don't install it into the igniton key cylinder.
Then you can just turn the switch.

If you can't figure that out, I am sorry but I won't give you any other instructions on this issue.

Re: Hot-wiring a '93

Take the steering collum apart and see if the switch can be removed if it can be then there should be somewires going in to it, cut them then you could sit there and play arround touching them together to see what happens, but that could damage the car, so just get a manual from a library and see which color does what then just put in a push button start. ; )
