how much to...

replace a cv boot? ford has been giving me the run around about my extended service plan. When I bought my car they never transfered it like they told me they did. So I finally found out that to transfer the warrentee (sp?) they want $50 and a $50 dectuable when i bring it in. They thing is there's only 500 miles left until my e.s.p. plan runs out. So should I transfer the warentee and go to ford or just go to the local shop and get it fixed for however much? any suggestions?

It'll be more than $100 parts+labor. Take it to them.

Its not that hard if they don't do it. ~$80 parts too IIRC
