My 89 Probe GL 2.2 Non-turbo 5 speed has a puzzling idle problem.
It will idle fine at 850-900 RPM most of the time.
But other times it will idle at 1,000-1,500 RPM.
It's not a big problem, just annoying.
Any ideas?

This is going back awhile,If the car is fuel injected it will
probably be a idle speed compensator and a throttle body
cleaning.The other thing it could be is a vacium leak.
