Mazda or Probe Transmission XÃ*ng
I am hoping you can tell me what transmission would be best for my Probe GT. It has a Mazda Z series motor we installed this winter but it seems to be a dog off the line and im sure it has to do with the transmission series not being a Mazda.
we changed the tranny but we dont remember what car it was from.
its evedent the series of transmission has a great deal to factor because of the gear ratio.
I have an opertunity to buy a tranny from the bone yard thats in a Mazda 626 here are the tranny #'s-
1YVGE22D2R5134420 
(1YGVE-would be the G series ??)
the other tranny's start with1ZVLT.
my sister is all yours if you can help me.
