well, i dropped off the tranny for ANOTHEr rebuild. this is the 5th time it has been in for a rebuild that i know of....

I am so damn mad. I cant race when my tranny is busted.

Damn man! Are you dropping it off to the same people? Looks like maybe they are not fixing the problem! Tell them to just throw in a MTX instead of an ATX?

seriously, you're just paying to prolong the problem. Have your car converted to manual transmission.

If may cost a little more than this rebuild at the shop, but it will prevent you from needing a 6th rebuild.


Also "race" and "3.0L ATX" should not mix. You're killing it yourself.

I would love to get a manual tranny, but you have to look at it from my point of view.

the atx.. yes it sucks, but it is under warranty.... Any time i break it, it gets fixed free. they had a different guy rebuild it this time and they called me yesterday saying it was the valve body.
