What's up I'm a newbie here. I own a 1993 Ford Probe GT. I'm waiting for my KLZE engine to come in so I can get it installed. I threw a piston rod through my oil pan in September.

I'm going to take some pictures of the broken rod when I get it out and I'll post em up here! Well Glad to find more Probe Enthusiasts!

Who's got the fastest Probe at this site?

Welcome to FF, your interior looks good. Don't know who has the fastest Probe. BTW, I use to live in Albuquerque.

Really? That's cool! There's too many ricers out here, far too many honda's and acura's. Whenever I can scrounge the money for my new motor we'll show them that the FordMoCo knows what's goin on.

I'm workin on gettin black panels to replace the grey in the interior, and I'm going to get black carpeting and a headliner.

You do realize that the 2.5L V6 in your car is a Mazda motor right? Also that the chassis/suspension is Mazda? The body is Ford. Anyways, your car looks nice, too bad you have an automatic. What all have you done to your ride? I think Dan has the fastest PGT on here. He was running mid 13's last I heard. I hope to be in the 14's here soon, hopefully mid to low 14's. Welcome to the club!

Yes I do realize that the car is Mazda design with a Ford Stamp, however, how many other japanese rice rockets do you see with more than a 2.0L? Not many.

Right now I'm workin on gettin the new engine before I do anything, mostly interior stuff, but I'm working on getting some sponsorships for parts.

Actually, the automatic is an up. I'm going to order a racing tranny w/LSD and a Racing torque converter all topped off with a B&M shifter. I'll be able to smoke 5 speed's off the line, which will enevetably give me quicker 1/4 mile times.

Man, I hope you have alot of money in your savings, because an LSD costs ALOT of money. Where are you going to get this racing transmission? It is true that autos usually win in bracket racing because they have more consistent times. It's just that they are not as reliable under lots of power, so I hope you are going to get an oil cooler and what not for it. Sounds like you are going to be spending some mega bucks! You should have one damned fast auto if you can pull it off..
