Im getting my car painted soon, Im thinking about whether or not to keep the plastic outside on the fenders and doors. First I wanted to keep it, cuz I liked the way it looked on the side and I didnt wanna have dings from dumb people opening their doors on my car... But Im going for that clean look, and I think it'd look better without it.
So what do you think? Place your vote!
If your car is for show only, and you plan on shaving door handles, emblems, etc, then I would shave them as well. But if you want to keep your car's fresh new paint from getting the occasional ding or two, I'd keep it on, just paint it the same color as the car.

Im shaving everything pretty much but the door handles (no emblems, or badges or stickers whatsoever, just a side marker on the fenders). Its not only for show but I do have a Maxima for daily driver... I would shave them but I dont want any dings and I know how dumb people are at the mall. Plus I do like the way it looks like. But with the sinsei itd look better probably...
Tang, your right, but you still kept them, so how am I gonna be different from YOU???
Damn, I cant make up my mind... Someone smack me please!
