probe 4 -cyl transmission removal

can someone help me with the steps to take the transmission out of my 1997 probe, automatic, 4-cyl

I can give you a synapses, but it won't be step by step, as I've never done a Probe.
Disconnect battery
Raise and block the car
Probably need to pull noseclip\bumper
Remove starter
Drain transmission and remove transmission cooler lines
Disconnect linkage (clutch included if applicable)
Disconnect the steering rack and unbolt to move out of the way
Pull the axles\drive shaft
Support the engine\transmission assembly
Drop the subframe
Unbolt the transmission from the engine and remove.
Note: the engine\transmission assembly may need to be lowered for the tranny to clear the frame work, or the car may need to be raised further. When I dod my Pontiac, it was a combination.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.
This doesn't include any wiring, and I'm pretty sure there's going to be a few specifics that you'll come across, but those are the major steps.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?
