My first car was a 67 Mustang Coupe, 2nd one was a 67 Cougar XR-7, 3rd one was a 66 Mustang Coupe. Why did I get rid of these cars for ? I know why, because I'm stupid, stupid, stupid.
If you haven't done it already, take the Air filter and air intake off. Now, remove the bracket that runs between the intake manifold and starter motor. If you want, label , then disconnect the wires from the terminals on the starter motor solenoid. Disconnect any clips holding the wiring to the starter. Remove the mounting bolts and detach the starter.

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean when you say plenum ? I know what the word means. But I don't know what object your talking about.

That means disconnecting all the plumbing to the injectors, doen't it? This "modern" car is all new to me, I'm used to working on Ford's from the 70's & early 80's! Is this something I should try to tackle? I don't have a manual, but the library opens soon and they have one. I appreciate any help you give me.........Thanx, Mike
No, no, All you have to do is take off the Air filter box and the plastic intake going in the air box. Sorry I'm taking so long to reply. I'm watching the Braves and Dimondbacks.
